HEALTH ACTION COURSE
Askamore community council with the support of the IFA Farm Family committee are hosting a health action course over 4 Tuesdays in November – 2nd, 9th, 16th & 23rd.

It will feature a first aid revision course with talks from a GP, Psychotherapist, Physiotherapist, a Dietician and Fitness Instructor about Health, wellness, benefits from nature & finding the perfect work-life balance.

Booking is essential for this popular course.

CARNEW TEXT ALERT 
The Garda in Carnew are setting up a text alert in the area, forms have been given out to most houses and if you are interested in joining  please return the form by the weekend to the Garda Station or Victor Young’s.

It is hoped to have it up and running by the end of the month , if you did not receive a form and would like to join then forms can be got from the Garda Barracks, Victor Youngs or the Post Office.

BINGO 

Bingo resumed in St Bridget’s Hall, Carnew on Sunday 3rd October at 2.30pm. The next bingo is Sunday 17th at 2.30pm and we would ask for your support please.

Please note that this event will follow government guidelines.
People with a valid Covid passport will be admitted. Masks must be worn at all times within the hall. Hand sanitizer will be available.

The hall committee hope to recoup many of the ongoing expenses that occurred during the last 18 months – insurance, electricity, bingo license, legal fees, alarm fees and other expenses. Please support.
