Dermot Cavanagh to hold inspirational 3-Day watercolour course in Glendalough

BBC TV Artist Dermot Cavanagh is holding an inspirational 3-Day watercolour course in Glendalough, County Wicklow from 2nd to 4th November 2021.
This will be a great opportunity for art enthusiasts to learn new skills in watercolour. Dermot Cavanagh is the artist and presenter behind the hit BBC TV learn-to-paint series ‘Awash with Colour’.

During his 74-episode TV show he taught and inspired a host of celebrities to paint the Irish landscape. Pauline McLynn, Packie Bonner, Charlie Dimmock, Barry McGuigan and Gloria Hunniford to name a few all took up painting under Dermot’s expert tuition. Now he’s coming to teach a 3-Day watercolour course in Glendalough, County Wicklow and he invites you to join him.

At his 3-Day watercolour course, Dermot will take his small group of guests through a range of techniques and help them to paint a local watercolour landscape. People often say they’ve learnt more from Dermot’s courses in a few days than from years attending other classes. His hands-on method of tuition allows him to bring out the artist in anyone, even those with the most basic skills. Dermot Says “I will build your confidence and take away the mystery around painting, I welcome all levels of artistic ability from basic beginners to the more experienced amateurs”.

The course runs from 10:00am to 4:30pm. Paces are limited to a small and exclusive group of painters to allow for lots of Dermot’s individual attention and instruction. All the art materials and equipment needed for the course will be provided by Dermot during the course. Tea/Coffee and light refreshment will be available on arrival and throughout each painting day. Lunch will also be available for purchase at the venue. The 3 Day course price is £199.00
