Driver tested positive for cocaine and cannabis

A driver was arrested after testing positive for cocaine and cannabis.

Gardai stopped the man at a checkpoint in Rathnew on Friday evening.

On arrival at the Garda station it was discovered that this was the second time the man had been caught.

Gardai say the driver now faces a 6 year disqualification and possible imprisonment.
