Greystones Municipal District is open Monday to Friday; 9.30 am to 12 pm and 2pm to 4 pm.
GMD is located on Mill Road, Greystones.

Bray/Greystones Cliff Walk Remains Partially Closed
The Bray/Greystones Cliff Walk remains partially closed.
It is possible to walk from Bray to Windgates and then follow a loop back to Bray.
Or just return to Bray the way you came.
The Greystones side is very dangerous and is closed in certain spots.
WCC has put short term measures in place for protection of the public.
It continues to seek an alternative route for the walk.
The patience and co-operation of the public is much appreciated.

Greystones Library|Mill Road|Greystones
- Greystones Library is fully operational
- Study spaces available for public use. Individual screens in place for extra safety.
- CO2 monitors installed for public safety and reassurance.
- Public access PCs available for use.
- Class visits with pods of 6 or less with prior arrangement.
- Events of 7+ require all attendees to show proof of vaccination against COVID-19.
Wicklow County Council|Housing Adaptation Grants
Housing Adaption Grants are being accepted for older people and people with a disability.
The purpose is to allow these groups to remain living independently in their own homes.
And to avoid their having to be care for in hospitals and nursing homes.
The grants are available in three categories.
- Mobility Aids Grant
- Housing Adaptation Grant
- Housing Aid for Older People
All three grants are means tested.

Attendance of the Public and Media at remote meetings.
Procedures to be observed.
- Members of the public and media may be present at a remote meeting of Greystones Municipal District
- Attendees must comply with Greystones Municipal District Standing Orders and Supplementary Standing Orders to Regulate Remote Meetings.
- Members of the media and public shall give prior notice of a request to join an online meeting of Greystones Municipal District.
- Requests must be emailed to Greystonesmd@wicklowcoco.ie no later than 12 noon on the day of the meeting. A name and email address is required.
- The link to the meeting is for the recipient only and must not be forwarded on to any other person(s).
- Attendees must maintain silence and observe any directions given by the Cathaoirleach or by an official of the Council. Microphones must be kept on mute at all times.
- Members of the public and the media do not have the right to speak, any interruptions or endeavours to interrupt will result in the remote connection being terminated.
- No recording of the meeting and its proceedings by any person in attendance (elected members, media or members of the public) is permitted.
Greystones Active Retirement Association (GARA)
Wonderful group for the over 55s in the Greystones and surrounding areas.
Lots going on, there is something for everyone at GARA !!
Ongoing activities include:
- Art Mondays 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm.
- Short Mat Bowling Tuesdays 10.45 am to 12.45 pm.
- Bingo Thursdays 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm.

Free Two Hour Parking in Greystones
There will be free two hour parking in Greystones on Saturdays from 27 November to Christmas.
Sincere apologies for previous incorrect start date of 20 November.
For the record, free parking in Greystones is usually the four Saturdays before Christmas.
Special reminder that usual restrictions apply.
No parking on double yellow lines or in loading zones.
This will be another great opportunity to shop local for Christmas 2021 !!

WCC now has a Wicklow Age Friendly Strategy (2022 to 2027).
