Road closed as truck overturns at Woodenbridge (Update road reopened)

The road between Woodenbridge and Aughim has been closed this evening after a truck overturned on the R747 close to the Woodenbridge hotel.

Emergency services are at the scene and the road is expected to open later tonight.

One man was taken to hospital with what was described as minor injures.

Diversions are in place.
