Celebrate the start of Spring with an old Irish tradition.

County Wicklow artist Sarah Eva Manson wants you to celebrate an old Irish tradition ahead of St.Brigid’s day which takes place next Tuesday the 1st of February.

Sarah Eva explains “My late Gaga taught me how to weave the traditional 4 pointed cross when I was a little one and until my littles are old enough I will put my energy into sharing this craft with you.

I have 3 options for you this year:
1. Buy a cross
2. Buy a DIY kit
3. Go out and gather rushes yourself and follow this instructional video below.

The last year has been tough… For us all… For a moment let us all take a break from the news and focus on taking a few minutes for ourselves doing a fun craft that has been around for many generations.”
