Knockananna camogie club have picked up their second Leinster title after beating St.Brigid’s of Westmeath.
The Wicklow County Champions continued the fine form which seen them beat Louth Champions St.Brid’s two weeks ago.
Though they did go behind by a point early in the game it was one way traffic after Sarah Byrne found the net to settle any sign of nerves.

After the goal Knockananna settled right in and came at the Westmeath champions in waves, breaking down any advancement into their half.
Knockananna notched up a number of points before Player of the match Laura Hogan found the back of the net from a long lob which deceived the keeper.
The Wicklow ladies went into the break leading 2 goals and 7 points to 2 points.
With a comprehensive lead at half-time Knockananna seemed to take their foot off the accelerator, but managed to score 3 second half goals two more from Laura Hogan, while conceding 5 points mainly from frees.
The result never looked in doubt though, with the final score of 5-7 to 7 points.

Leinster Chairperson Linda Kenny presented Knockananna captain Laura Hogan with both the Player of the Match Award and the winning trophy.
Scorers for Knockananna Laura Hogan 3-4, Rachael Byrne 1-1, Sarah Byrne 1 goal, Roisin Byrne and Ciara Byrne a point each.
Knockananna will now have a All-Ireland semi-final date set for the end of February.
