Second Plastic-free sustainable grocery store to open in Greystones

A plastic-free sustainable grocery store has announced it will open its new store in Greystones next month.

The Source Bulk Foods, which stocks over 500 locally sourced products in large quantities, will open its new branch in Meridian Point Shopping Centre.

The company already has a network of over 60 stores across Ireland, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Singapore.

Greystones will be home to its second Irish store, with the first store operating in Rathmines Co Dublin.

Describing the shopping experience customers will expect, they said: “Customers can scoop over 500 bulk foods and lifestyle products into recycled brown paper bags, reusable containers brought from home or glass jars purchased at the store.”

“We feel truly proud to be able to bring The Source Bulk Foods to Greystones to provide local families with wholesome, packaging-free products that we know are being sourced as locally as possible,” they said.

“It’s all about providing a good old-fashioned grocery shopping experience in a modern way.”
