The Dublin and Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team were called out to Knockraheen, Roundwood after a man fell and sustained an injury.
The incident, which also saw Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue attend, took place on Sunday, 20 February at approximately 12:58pm.
It’s understood a 27-year-old man had fallen and sustained a hip and arm injury.
“Given the mechanism of injury, it was decided to treat the casualty as spinal,” said a spokesperson for Dublin and Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team.
The patient was then brought by stretcher to the carpark before being placed in the care of paramedics from the National Ambulance Service.
The callout, which is the 14th so far this year, was stood down just after 2pm.
