New superintendent appointed to Bray Garda District

A new superintendent has been appointed to Bray Garda District, An Garda Síochána has confirmed.

The policing force have said Superintendent Patrick Connell, who has 23 years of experience within the force, assumed responsibilities for the role on 21 February.

Superintendent Connell takes over from Supt Sorcha Fitzpatrick, who has now transferred to the Special Tactics and Operations Command.
