Power outages as Eunice arrives in Wicklow


Power outages have been reported in the county as Storm Eunice crosses County Wicklow.

After a calm early morning in the county winds quickly increased just before 9.30am.

Gusts of up to130k were reported in Cork as the storm passed over the county

Motorists are being advised to use caution and only travel if necessary, watch out for fallen trees, debris and spot flooding.

The Irish Coast Guard, Road Safety Authority, An Garda Síochána and Local Authorities have advised members of the public to stay away from all coastal areas for the duration of the Met Éireann warnings.
