The L204 between Tinahely and Gorey remains blocked by a fallen tree and wires at Annagh Cross south of the Gap public house.
Motorists are advised to use an alternative route.
The road also remains closed north of the Gap public house on the Ballythomas road between Ballythomas and Annacurra following the death of a council worker earlier today.
