Gardai are investigating an attack on the local Community Hall in Dunlavin.
The Imall hall which is located in the centre of the village was broken into and ransacked some time between Wednesday night and Thursday morning.
The Seomra room was flooded and bean bags were ripped apart, the committee are still trying to determine what was taken in the attack as the sports room containing tents belonging to the scouts group and sports equipment was also forced open.
