Met Éireann has issued a status yellow weather warning for Co Wicklow on Sunday.
The Irish National Meteorological Service says “intense” falls of rain are likely with spot flooding also likely as a result.
Higher ground areas will be most at risk, it says.
The warning comes into operation at 2am on Sunday and will remain valid until 11am.
Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Cork, Tipperary and Waterford are also included in the weather warning.
