Carnew St. Patrick’s Day Parade 2022

Come enjoy a family day out on St. Patrick’s Day at the Carnew St. Patrick’s Day Parade starting at the earlier time of 12.30pm. The parade will commence on the Gorey Road and continue down the Main Street. Music and parade commentary will take place at the centre of the Main Street, and opposite St. Brigid’s Hall.
The Carnew St. Patrick’s Day Committee is excited to announce that Edel Kennedy will be our 2022 Grand Marshal. Hailing from Ballisland, Edel plays for Wexford Youths Women FC as a midfielder. In the 2021 FAI Women’s Cup Final, Edel scored a much-lauded goal which ensured her team’s victory. Having had over 200 senior appearances with Wexford Youths Women FC, Edel is an inspirational sports star whose dedication and skill make her an excellent role model for all young sports enthusiasts.
