East Coast FM will ‘Step Up For Cancer’ from April 1st to 8th to raise vital funds for cancer support services across Wicklow and for The Wicklow Hospice.
Starting in Blessington, the East Coast team, accompanied by supporters, will Walk the Garden County, visiting each of the Cancer Support Centres across 8 days.
Over 12 years, Wicklow’s Favourite Radio station has raised over €400,000 for Cancer Support Services and The Wicklow Hospice thanks to the incredible generosity of people across the county.

Throughout the week, listeners will hear directly from volunteers who tirelessly strive to keep the services running, as well as from those who have directly benefited, as they share their inspirational and emotive stories. The progress of the walk can be followed on air and online and there will be surprise live performances from well-known local musicians along the way.
