As part of the ongoing Public Realm works in Arklow, the next stage of works will involve the installation of drainage, service ducting, utilities and finish footpath and paving on St. Mary’s Road.
To facilitate these works a full road closure will be required from 7th March to the 29th April 2022 inclusive.
A 24 hour closure will be required during this period.
Alternative Routes:
Westbound traffic on the R722 (Main Street) will be diverted via R772 (Wexford Road). L-6901 (Liam Mellows Avenue), L-2901 (Abbey Street) and the L-6902 (St Mary’s Road and Connolly Street).
Eastbound traffic on the R772 (Main Street) will be diverted via the R722 (Main Street), the L-2901 (Lower Main Street/Hudson Square/Back Street and Abbey Street) and the L-6902 (St Mary’s road and Connolly Street).
Further notification will issue to the traffic management arrangement in advance as the project progresses.
