Cllr Rory O Connor has secured a new electric charging point for Enniskerry. This is the first public electric charging point in the village.
Speaking on the matter Cllr O’Connor said ” The Government wants almost 1 million electric cars on the road by 2030. I believe this council needs to prepare for this and expand our electric charger infrastructure across Wicklow.
“This was a priority for me when I decided to run in the elections. I’m delighted that people locally will be able to benefit from this new service.”
The location of the planned electric charger will be in the car park of the bog meadow.
