Dr. Margaret Kennedy is appealing for specialist equipment for donation to Ukraine.
Dr.Kennedy said “As a disabled , nearly 70, woman and wheelchair user I thought about all disabled people in Ukraine, or older, or sick.
I set up an appeal for disability equipment to truck out, plus medical supplies, crutches (tie together) sticks (tie together) rollators, walkers, wheelchairs, braces, splints and all things that might support disabled older people.
Brennanstown Riding Stables, Kilmacanogue, A98 C2F1 is receiving the donations.
The organisation ‘Medical help Ukraine’ is picking it all up on Wednesday 22nd March.
Please , if you have ANYTHING including bandages, urinals, first aid supplies, bed pans, colostomy bags…all welcome.
Equipment must be clean and not broken. we have no way of fixing equipment.”
