From Arklow to Bray over to Blessington and back down to Carnew, St.Patrick’s day was hailed a massive success here in County Wicklow.
Thousands turned out for the first parades of the 20’s following a two year absence due to Covid-19.
Aughrim, Blessington, Carnew, Newtown and Rathdrum had early starts while Arklow, Bray and Wicklow Town had afternoon starts but all parades seen record attendances.
The weather also played ball even though the early starts were under grey skies the sun shone in the afternoon.
