MET Eireann have issued a Status Yellow Wind and Rain Warning for Tuesday night and Wednesday.

The Warning which was issued this afternoon will come into effect on Tuesday night and will be valid from 10pm on Tuesday until 3pm on Wednesday.

Heavy rainfall on Tuesday night and Wednesday, possibly turning wintry in places, will be accompanied by strong to near gale force and gusty southerly winds. This will lead to hazardous driving conditions and localised flooding.
