Wicklow Family Club has announced a variety of classes to be held every Friday that aim to support and educate participants.
The club, which it says its aim is to provide a friendly environment while meeting new people, making new friends, gaining new skills by attending classes, has only recently started.
Currently classes on offer include first aid with the Red Cross, Sonic Journey music, meditation, healthy food planning and financial advice with MABS – the Money Advice and Budgeting Service.
The leaders of the club are encouraging those who have suggestions for classes to let them know, as they say: “We need you to tell us what you need”.
“Wicklow Family Club is excited to welcome you all to join us for fun, exciting classes, educational talks, practical help and support every Friday at the De La Salle Pastoral Centre Wicklow Town between 10am-12pm,” they said.
The club is supported by some incredible organisations including Wicklow Lions Club, Wicklow Child and Family and Tusla Child and Family Support.
The cost of joining the club is €5 per family which covers running costs and refreshments.
