The luckiest week for learner drivers to pass their driving test in 2021 has been revealed – including the unluckiest week of the year.

After long spouts of driving tests being paused over the last two years due to the pandemic resulting in a backlog, more learner drivers than ever before in Ireland are applying to take their tests.
Insurance company Chill has analysed records from the Road Safety Authority in Ireland to discover which weeks in 2021 had the highest pass rates and are therefore the luckiest.
The first week in January proved to be the luckiest, with a pass rate of over 60 per cent among the 3,031 driving test offered.
