Two Wicklow natives helping Ukraine to feature on Late Late Show

Two natives to County Wicklow who have been helping the people of Ukraine will feature on tonight’s Late Late Show.

Immunologist Professor Luke O’Neill, who has been a leading face of the Covid-19 pandemic, will speak to host Ryan Tubridy about travelling to Slovakia to volunteer as humanitarian supplies are sent to Ukraine.

Also on the programme is Wicklow woman Cathy Wheatley who will tell the story of evacuating her surrogate out of Ukraine and to safety with her family here in Ireland.

There’ll also be a special performance by Ukrainian dancer Taya Shvets, who was also forced to flee when the war broke out.

The Late Late Show airs tonight at 9:35pm on RTÉ One.
