Delgany Village is hosting their Spring Village Clean up this coming weekend! They need to get volunteers for the village clean up next weekend.
The event will take place on Saturday 14th May 10am – 1pm and Sunday 15th May 10am – 1pm.
A spokesperson said: “We need your help to clean Delgany. Can you join us on the weekend of the clean up?It’s a great way of meeting your neighbors, so come and join us, you will need to wear gloves and if you have some gardening tools bring them too.
“There are 10 Zones in Delgany that we need volunteers to help with. All areas need rubbish to be bagged, pathways, walkways cleared, weeds removed and overgrowth cut back. Join us at any meeting area and you will see them set up throughout the village.”
It is best to turn up as near to 10am as you can, so they can give you the jobs required.
“We want to do well in The Tidy Towns Awards, so if you can’t make the weekend clean up please do go out and clean your areas before July,” they added.
