A man’s body has been pulled from a car that entered the River Vartry in Wicklow.
The man, believed to be aged in his 30s, was driving a car that plunged into the river in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Gardaí were alerted to the incident, which is understood to have occurred near The Fish Man premises located on the South Quay.
The lifeboat in Wicklow was launched at 12.26am to assist Gardaí and emergency services.
