The Dublin and Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team recently responded to a medical emergency that occurred in Glendalough.
Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue were also called out on Tuesday after a request for help by the National Ambulance Service.
It’s understood a man in his 50s required assistance due to a medical emergency.
A team of personnel made their way in a response vehicle to the casualty site.
The patient was stabilized by the National Ambulance Service crew on-scene, then transferred to hospital by ambulance.
The callout, which is the 32nd so far this year, was stood down after 55 minutes.
