Baltinglass classic car show and road run makes a comeback after two year break due to COVID-19.
This was an annual event up to 2019 and was growing in popularity each year and attracted entrants from all over Ireland as wall as a few from England and Wales.
Over the years the event has raised tens of thousands of euro for local deserving causes. Proceeds from this year’s run will go to the West Wicklow Daycare Service and Scoil Naomh Iosaf, Baltinglass.
The organisers, West Wicklow Classic and Vintage Vehicle Club invite all classic vehicle owners to participate.
The event is on Sunday August 7th with cars assembling in Baltinglass for static display from 11AM and the road Run gets under way at 2 PM sharp. Entry fee of 20 Euro includes meal for the driver and additional meals for passengers can be purchased at registration on the day.
There will be prizes for vehicles in various categories with a special extra feature for classic Fiats. Meal , raffle and prize giving take place after the road run in Germaine’s of Baltinglass.
This is an excellent day out for all the family and helps support two excellent causes.
