DART services suspended in Bray

DART services have been suspended in Bray this afternoon after passengers force open doors got off and walked on the track at Daly Station.

In a statement, Iarnród Éireann said that trains had to be stopped in both directions while staff and gardaí clear people from the line, and called what happened a “dangerous act”.

It said this incident has resulted in delays for customers on this train and other trains behind it, and that a similar issue occurred on a second DART behind.

On Twitter, Iarnród Éireann urged passengers not to get off the trains and said services will not be able to run until the line has been cleared.
