Dublin and Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team as well as Glen of Imaal Red Cross Mountain Rescue responded to an injured walker near Powerscourt on the weekend.
Both teams were tasked by An Garda Síochána to a report of a walker who sustained a lower leg injury on Sunday, July 7.
Initial information was for a casualty in Powerscourt but after some investigation a new location put the patient on the Long Hill road side close to a 4×4 drivable track.
The casualty was treated and then transported down to the National Ambulance Service & crew.
After just over an hour the incident was stood down.
