Wexford Bus to increase fare prices on Wicklow – Dublin route

Wexford Bus has announced it will be increasing its fares from next month, which includes its Wicklow – Dublin route.

The private bus company, which operates its 740A service from Gorey to Dublin via Wicklow Town and Rathnew, will be increasing ticket fares.

The increase will be €1 on adult fares and will take effect from Thursday, August 4 – however, bookings made prior to this date will remain at current prices.

A spokesperson for Wexford Bus said: “We have held off on making this difficult decision for as long as possible but with the continued increase in fuel and operating costs this fare increase must now be introduced.”
