Wicklow Tennis Club has announced a vacancy has arisen for a Head Coach, who will be responsible for managing the developing the club’s coaching programme.
The club, which is located in the centre of Wicklow Town, is a vibrant and growing club with six Tiger Turf courts and approximately 800 members, catering for both social and league players.
They’re now seeking a Head Coach to develop and deliver a comprehensive coaching programme for adult and junior members.
According to the club, the key responsibilities will be to establish a standard coaching structure to ensure that all club coaches are working to an agreed plan, while also supervise, develop and liaise with the other club coaches in line with the club’s coaching policy.
The Head Coach will report to the club’s Executive Committee via the coaching co-ordinator and is expected to liaise with the club’s coaching committee as appropriate from time to time.
To apply for the position, candidates will need to produce proof of satisfactory Garda vetting, relevant qualifications and relevant insurance.
