Lotto results Monday 1st August. Numbers were : 6 – 17 – 25 – 26. No Jackpot Winner. 3 Match 3 Winners, Mick O’Reilly, Billy & Claire Cuddihy and Sarah Doyle. Next weeks jackpot €8,250.

 Commiserations to Laci Jane Shannon, Aoife Stafford and the Wicklow minor football team on their agonising defeat in the All-Ireland final last week. The medal presentation for the 2021 year will take place next Saturday August 13th on the gaa pitch. The presentation will commence at 3pm, starting with presentations for all juvenile teams. A special guest will be present on the day to present the medals. Refreshments will be available throughout the day. There will also be the running of the Ciaran Shannon 7 a side in the later part of the afternoon. The juvenile presentation will be followed by a BBQ (approx 6pm) in The Saltee that evening where the medal presentation will take place for the 2021 junior championship winning team. Please keep an eye on our social media channels for all up to date information and fixtures this week. The draw for the next round of the intermediate championship is not available at the time of notes being sent.

Annual Show

Aughrim Sheep Breeders will hold their Annual Show and Sale on Friday, 2nd September in Carnew Mart. Sheep will be penned and sold in the usual Class format. The next committee meeting takes place on Monday 15th August at 8.30 in Joe O’ Toole’s. New Members welcome.

Kids Craft Club

The Crafty kids club is on Friday August 12 . The club will run from 10-30 until 12-30. All materials supplied. Venue Tinahely Craft market.

Local Tinahely man Eamonn Darcy has written a book about his life and times. Title of book is Some thoughts from my life and times. Book is on sale in Tinahely shops.
