FROM THE GORMANSTOWN CHOIR We were quite overwhelmed with the support we got for our concert in the Kildare Cathedral on Saturday the 23. July in aid of AHR- Atlantic Humanitarian Relief Services.

A HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU! AHR, founded by a Syrien doctor living in America, are travelling again- the first time since COVID- to Jordan to bring medical Aid to the people in the Syrien refugee camps in Jordan.

This Medical Mission lasts a week , starting October 1. Pre covid AHR have been running these weeklong missions twice yearly since the war began. Each mission costs between € 80,000 and €100000. All the medical and humanitarian volunteers are entirely self funded. Our concert has raise € 8000.- , thanks to all of you! It has exceeded all our expectations! www.atlantichumanitarinrelief.org Dr. Brendan O’Shea, Nurse Corinna Hopkins and myself, Dorly O’Sullivan are travelling to Jordan the last days of September to meet up with the Team coming from America and Europe, to start work on the 1. October. Every Day the team will split up to serve two or more Refugee camps throughout the country of Jordan. Whilst Brendan and Corinna will be part of the team attending to the many patients, Dorly will be singing and making music with the many children there.

It is a big day for the camp people with all the foreigners and many Arab students and young doctors ( acting as translators) present for the day. Dorly is looking for as many rattles and shakers and other toy music instruments as possible, that your children might have outgrown, to bring in her suitcase to Jordan to use with the children.
