Ger Devin Swims for the Gavin Glynn Foundation|27 August 2022

The Men’s at Greystones Seafront;  9 am to 5 pm.

Ger will be swimming for eight hours back and forth between two buoys.

The buoys will be located 500 metres apart.

You can come along and join Ger for as long or as short as you like !!

Donations to the Gavin Glynn Foundation.

Food will be available every 40 minutes for those who are swimming long distances.

There will be music,  courtesy of piper David Green.

Ger’s swim is preparation for his big swim in Catalina, California this October.

Ger will be swimming from Catalina Island to the California coast.

Come along and show your support for both Ger and the Gavin Glynn Foundation !!

Taste of Greystones Regatta at Greystones Sailing Club

Taste of Greystones Regatta returns,  27 and 28 August 2022.

This is a cruiser/keelboat regatta.

First race will start on the Saturday at 3.30 pm.

Second and third races will run back to back and will start on the Sunday at 11 am.

Wonderful opportunity to see sailing at its best and right on our doorstep !!

Person arrested for failing to pay for groceries.

Two males stole 2 black iPhones from shop.

Two males de-tagged and stole 6 Liverpool jerseys.

8 bottles Jameson, worth €220,  stolen from shop.

Wheel of bicycle stolen outside railway station.

  • Mobility Aids Grant Scheme
  • Housing Aid for Older People

There is limited availability for funding.

Only fully completed applications received with the necessary supporting documentation will be considered.

Applications will be prioritised on medical record.
