The community of Greystones were recently donated a new defibrillator by the Gavin Glynn Foundation, following the King of Greystones Triathlon.
The challenge, which took place on Sunday July 24, raised a total of more than €60,000 for the charity.
Following the fundraiser, the charity has thanked the community by donating a brand new defibrillator, which is located behind the wall of the monument in Greystones.
The Gavin Glynn Foundation helps families of children battling cancer to travel overseas for treatment not available in Ireland.
The new defibrillator comes with instructions on how to safely operate the piece of lifesaving equipment in the case of an emergency.
