Congratulations to our under 13 team who had a very tough and close game away to Tommnafinogue last Monday. They earned a well deserved win on a 6-10 to 5-6 scoreline.
Commiserations to the junior team who were defeated by Donard last Thursday. They will face Kiltegan this week in their last group game.
Well done to our intermediate team who recorded a great win over Newtown on Saturday in the quarter final. A great second half seen us over the line on a 1-11 to 0-6 scoreline and onto the semi final where we will meet Hollywood.
Our under 12 girls played Clara Vale in Avondale in a practice match. We have a few girls out injured so we didn’t have the full squad but earned a 4.8 to 5.5 draw. Final game of 2022 for the girls is next Saturday 10th at the Festival of Football in Ballinakill where Annacurra will play Coolkenno who topped this years league. Match is at 11.45 am.
