Energy bills, fuel costs, home heating costs, and rent are all rising. But energy companies and landlords are making record profits, according to the local Arklow Cost of Living Coalition Spokesperson

The group is holding a public meeting on Monday, October 3rd at 8 pm @ the Outsider Pub, function room, Main Street, Arklow

Speakers include:

Gino Kenny TD (People Before Profit) and

Kieran Allen (Sociologist)

Jennifer Whitmore TD (Social Democrats)

In a statement, Lorraine Farrell from the Cost Of Living Coalition said

These increases mean a winter of hardship for people across Ireland is looming. We are urging people to join the public meeting on October 3 to voice your concern and demand immediate caps on prices and the nationalisation of the energy sector.”
