Following a 3 night stint in Croke park over the weekend Garth Brooks and his wife Trisha Yearwood took in the sights at Glendalough on Monday.
The couple took in a guided tour of the Monastic site, more than 400,000 tickets have been sold for his sell-out Croke Park concerts, two of which will be held next Friday and Saturday night.
The couple also stopped off in Laragh to lunch at the Wicklow Heather and posed for a picture with owner Betty Kenny.
Betty posted on the Wicklow Heather Facebook page “We sure had friends in high places today when Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood dropped in to the Wicklow Heather for lunch today. They are such a lovely couple and we were so happy to show them our antique book collection. Can’t wait for Croke Park on Friday now.”
Glendalough is becoming high on the list for celebrity visits, but who would blame them, who would not want to visit the most amazing place in the country and its here in County Wicklow.
