Wicklow Hospice Fundraiser 

Our lady’s hospice and care services Wicklow has registration opened for the Wicklow hospice half marathon and 10k run in February Its a chip and time. There is medals for all the finishers.

Armistice Day 

This event is the week before the actual Armistice day.  The name of almost one thousand two hundred people both men and women from Co Wicklow who perished in world war one and all their names are on stone tablets which stands in the war memorial garden at the Woodenbridge.  

Woodenbridge village development association Armistice day commemoration takes place at the war memorial park on Sunday 6th November 2022 at 2pm Keynote speaker is Joe Duffy (R.T.E)

Refreshments will be served in the Woodenbridge hotel on the day.

Beyond The Trees Avondale 

Join the beyond the trees Avondale for a fun pumpkin hut this Halloween at the tree top walk in Avondale. There is lots of prizes to be won. 

The pumpkin hut is included in the treetop walk entry fee runs from Saturday 22nd October 2022 until Sunday 6th November 2022. Book you tickets in advance is advised. 

Rathdrum Christmas Market 

Rathdrum christmas market extravaganza – crafts/christmas gifts /delicious food. 

Sunday 13th November 2022 from 10am till 4pm at Avondale gaa complex. 

All proceeds go to the Rathdrum tidy towns.  

Wicklow Volunteer Day 

Anyone interested in volunteering at a special olympic club in your area? 

We would love for you to join us and find out more about volunteering.

Avondale Camogie Club 

Avondale camogie club will be holding the annual general meeting (A.G.M) on Wednesday 16th November 2022 at 7.30pm in Avondale gaa club house. 

Attendance is essential for the smooth running of the club for 2023

All adult members of the club and coaches and adult players and parents are requested to attend.   

Avondale U16 camogie team have booked themselves in a B shield county final in the Wicklow gaa centre of excellence Rathdrum on Wednesday 19th October 2022 at 6.30pm 

The girls are facing a strong Knockananna team in the final and the women will be up for it. 

Please come out and support these girls and bring your flags and hats with your club colours on them.  

There will be a five euro charge on the gate per car for entry on the evening of the match. 

Rathdrum Cancer Support Group 

Rathdrum cancer support group will be holding  their annual general meeting (A.G.M) on Wednesday the 19th October 2022 in the RDA hall in Rathdrum

Annual Remembrance Mass 

The annual remembrance mass for all deceased members of the parish who were buried from our three parish church in the year will be remembered at a special mass on Saturday 26th November 2022 next at 6pm mass in the Rathdrum parish church 

Parish Christmas Craft Fair 

Parish christmas craft fair will take place on Sunday 27th November in the R.D.A hall from 1pm to 5pm, if you would like to book a table the price is fifty euros whatever you sell at your tables.

The annual collection for the missions will take place next Sunday the 23rd October at all masses in the Rathdrum Parish it will replace the share collection which is the second collection whatever you can afford will be greatly appreciated

Avondale gaa club had a number of players taken part in the Cumann Na mbunscol   last week in Aughrim with there school team They played five games and did there school and club very proud Well done lads and keep up the good work
