Popular radio producer Claire Hogan bid farewell to East Coast FM this week after six years producing the Morning Show.
The Limerick lady took on the role in September 2016 and fell in love with County Wicklow.
Speaking to Wicklownews Claire said “It’s a bittersweet parting as I have loved working here in East Coast but at the same time am looking forward to my new role which is in television with RTE.
I have had a great six years with the station and I have to say working with Declan (Meehan) has been amazing, you could not have had a better mentor and colleague, I have learnt so much from him.
One of the things I have also enjoyed being part of is the Cancer Support Groups around the county and the Coffee mornings, and the amazing people I have met through the groups.
We have been lucky enough to receive IMRO nominations during my time here which is always exciting.
When I think of the highlights of my time in Wicklow I have to say the elections were very exciting, and watching the musical careers of young people like Amy Barrett, Rachel Coyne and the Price brothers.

Working through Covid was a strange experience even though I was in the studio every day, I did not see Declan for close on two years as he broadcast the show from home and we had only the minimum amount of people in the radio centre, I have to say it was a weird time and it was great to have to everyone back.
I would like to thank everyone who helped me during me time at the station and hopefully we will cross paths again in the future.”
