MET Eireann have issued a Status Yellow Wind & Rain Warning for Wednesday the 2nd of November.
The Warning is Valid from 4am until 9pm.
County Wicklow escaped the forecast downpours on Monday but the Bank-Holiday weekend turned out to be a total washout.
The outlook for Wednesday is as follows:
Very windy on Wednesday with widespread gales: southerly veering westerly.
Some severe and damaging gusts may occur.
Potential for localised wave overtopping along Atlantic coasts.
A spell of heavy rain will occur, leading to flooding in places.
