Emergency services attend helicopter crash close to the Wicklow border

Emergency services are attending a helicopter crash in Kildare this evening.

The light helicopter crashed in a field at Kennycourt west of Hollywood this afternoon.

The AAIU Twitter page said they had been notified of an occurrence involving a light helicopter approximately 6km south-east of Kilcullen, Co. Kildare.

Three Inspectors of Air Accidents are deploying to the site to commence an investigation.
