Free Two Hour Parking in Greystones|Four Saturdays Before Christmas

There will be free two hour parking in Greystones on the four Saturdays before Christmas.

Starting on 3 December 2022.

Special reminder that usual parking restrictions apply for single/double yellow lines and loading bays.

Please do not park in those areas as you are still liable for a parking fine.

Network of Entrepreneurial Women|Last Meeting|7 December 2022

The Hot Spot, above The Beach House,  Greystones Harbour Marina,  7 pm to 10 pm.

Finger food and hot drinks supplied by LEO Wicklow,  full cash bar available.

NEW is ceasing,  but new opportunity for women to network will begin in January 2023.

LEO Wicklow will join with Network Ireland to for Wicklow Branch of Network Ireland.

New programme will be much enhanced with up to 24 events to take part in annually.

Existing vibrant network of 60 women in business to meet.

National and county events in 2023.

LEO Wicklow staff and Network Ireland members to attend on the night.

Arts & Crafts for Ukrainian and Russian Families|10 December 2022

Bray Choral Society|Carols by Candlelight|17 December 2022

Handel’s Messiah Part I and Christmas Carols Old & New.

Choir,  orchestra,  soloists.

Outing to Whitewater Shopping Centre Newbridge

Proposed date will be between 10 and 15 December 2022.

Bookings and informatiion from GARA Committee,  Tuesday mornings,  Kilian House Family Centre,  10.30 am to 12 pm.

Or any Committee Member at any of the GARA activities.

Previous outings to Whitewater proved to be very popular and enjoyable.

The centre has 70 plus stores,  including national and international chains.

Great variety of eateries and coffee shops.

Cost is €20 to cover bus and driver.

25 people required to confirm in order to cover costs.

Annual screening of this wonderful movie.

One of the finest Christmas films ever made.

This 2003 comic masterpiece manages a perfect mix of sentimentality and hilarity.

All the while confirming,  once and for all,  that Santa really does exist !!

5 January 2023,  Parkview Hotel,  Newtownmountkennedy,  1.30 pm to 5 pm.

Music and Dancing by Tommy Carroll after dinner.

An enjoyable afternoon to finish up the Christmas season.

Tickets are €28,  on sale on Tuesday mornings,  Kilian House Family Centre,  10.30 am to 11.30 am.

Non Members are most welcome to come along for this most enjoyable afternoon !!

Bookings are now being taken so that the hotel can plan for numbers.

Greystones Youth Café is Now Open

Coolnagreina,  Trafalgar Road.

Wednesdays,  3 pm to 5 pm;  Fridays, 7 pm to 9 pm.

Secondary school young people now have a great space to socialise and be around their friends.

Safe space to hang out,  do homework or play games.

To take part,  you need to be able to play at least one tune.

And then improvise over it.

Jazz standards like those from the Real Book series,  iRealPro app.

However,  musicians are advised to bring their own amps and music stands.

This is a regular jazz session to develop and bring the jazz community together.
