Intruder broke in and went Nuts in Bray Library

Go Nuts at the Library

Wicklow County Library Service are currently running a Warm Winter Welcome at local libraries to encourage everyone to use their local library a little more.

Not one to look a gift horse in the mouth, a wily squirrel took advantage of the toasty library last Thursday for a quick mid morning wander. The visit began with checking out the local notices and continued on with a browse in the childrens book section.

Moving swiftly from bookcase to bookcase and along the light fittings, he/she/they proved to be an ideal visitor and left everything exactly how it was with no disturbance.

Internet Explorer

Once the bushy tailed Internet Explorer had taken stock and realised the library was better for reading than feeding, he was headed back to his own den with a decent helping of hand delivered nuts.

If you would like to pop into your local library for a toasty visit or to check out any of the many events going on this Winter, you can check out upcoming events here. Although, your friendly librarians do not recommend swinging from the light fittings!
