Local Artists Exposure
What we are proposing is that initially we will choose five local artists initially they should be requiring limited floor space so wall hangings or against the wall options would be preferable.
We are proposing that the art is put up on sale or return basis and that if sold a commission is payable to the institution housing the work.
The new gallery has a good footfall and also has a good quality of patrons who are in the right income group to purchase original and quality copy/work
I would welcome anyone who feels they fall in to this category to contact me and if possible arrange a viewing of the pieces they purpose to allow me see if the fall in to the required specifications for the initial launch. We would also like the initial artists to be within 55km range of Rathdrum.
Once the concept has proven itself we will extend the range to neighbouring villages and towns
We understand the frustration of artists where access to markets and suitable displays centres is a major worry We also understand that the lack of additional finance to allow them to pay for the galleries ect Our intention is to try and assist in getting exposure to local and also doing it in a cost effective method
Lets make our local talent famous who knows one local purchase today could end up in the USA tomorrow and become the envy of many.
They can contact me Dave Henry on 083 0349577 or email Dave on davehenry58@gmail.com for further information
