Annacurra notes week January 30th

Are you interested in coaching or maybe even looking to get involved in a supporting capacity in the GAA.

There will be a coaches meeting for juveniles and LGFA (underage and adult) to discuss and plan the year ahead on Thursday 2nd February at 8pm in the community center.

We are always looking for fresh faces and new coaches to get involved, even if you have no previous experience, come on down and get involved.

If you cannot make the meeting but would still like to get involved, please contact any committee member.

Grandparents  Day

The theme this year is ‘Walking Together in Faith & Love’, and it will take place from Sunday 22nd January to Sunday 29th January.

As part of Catholic Schools week, we will be celebrating Grandparents’ Day on Wednesday, February 1st. This is also the Feast of St. Brigid, patron of our school and our parish. Mass will be celebrated in the Church at 10.00am on that Wednesday morning. We invite parents and grandparents to mass that morning.

We would like to invite all grandparents to come to the school afterwards for some light refreshments. Even if your grandchildren attend another school or have left Annacurra NS you are still very welcome to come and join us. We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday at 10.00am and afterwards.
