Death
Sympathy to the family of Margaret Aspell (nee Byrne) (Mill Lane Manor Nursing Home, Naas, Co. Kildare and formerly of Dunlavin, Co. Wicklow) – January 9, 2023, (peacefully), at Mill Lane Manor Nursing Home, Naas, Margaret, beloved wife of the late James and dear mother of David and Helen; Sadly missed by her loving son, daughter, son-in-law Sean, daughter-in-law Anne, grandchildren Ciana and Katie, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends
Margaret’s funeral took place in Dunlavin on Thursday January 12th 2023. May she rest in peace.
Death
The death took place of Tony Walshe, Donard Lower, Donard, Co Wicklow, 10th January 2023, peacefully surrounded by his loving children at home.
Beloved husband of the late Mary (nee Dwyer), son of the late Edward and Rosemary also his beloved brother John.
He will be sadly missed by his loving family his children John, Nicola, Michelle, Niamh and Orlaigh, sons-in-law Andy and Mark, sisters, Mary, Eva, Rosanna, Eileen and Bernadette, aunt Kit, grandchildren Leah, Jack, Tommy and Corey, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives neighbours and friends.

Pilgrimage to Medjugorje 2023

Dunlavin Library’s opening hours are now as follows: Tuesday 5-8 , Wednesday and Friday 10-1 and 2-5 and Saturday 11-1 pm.

Panic Buttons – Anyone who is over the age of 65 may apply for a Panic Button. If you are interested, or know of someone who may require one and is living in the Dunlavin area, the necessary application form can be accessed by calling 086-1020303.
Used Postage Stamps – Please keep your used postage stamps for St. Patrick’s Missions, Kiltegan who use them to fundraise. Stamps can be dropped into the Parish office any time. Thank you to all who have donated in the past.

Family Carers Ireland
Family Carers Ireland are seeking volunteers in Dunlavin and the surrounding area to give 1 o 2 hours a week to visit an elderly person in their own home who are experiencing loneliness and isolation. The Irish Cancer Society – is looking for volunteers to drive patients to and from their chemotherapy treatments in all public hospitals nationwide.
