End in sight for Wicklow men crossing the Atlantic

The end is in sight for the 5 Wicklow men who are making the epic journey from LaGomera in the Canary Islands to Antigua in the Caribbean.

This morning the crew announced on Social Media they had only 60 nautical miles to go to claim a world record for the fastest 5 person team crossing ever to cross the Atlantic.

The team are now encountering difficulties with large seaweed patches which is slowing them down but they will make landfall later today.

They are Fund Raising for the Laura Lynn Foundation, the RNLI and Rathdrum Cancer Support. Donations can be made through their website at rowhardorgohome.com

The Row Hard or Go Home 5 Brugha boat can be tracked at the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge 2022 website or YB Races App. Arrivals in Antigua can be seen live on  You -Tube.
