The ‘silent killer’ that affects almost one million people in Ireland. High blood pressure or hypertension is the leading risk factor for stroke, heart attack and other serious heart conditions .

The Irish Heart Foundation and Healthy Ireland have teamed up to bring the mobile health unit to your area. Come along and have your blood pressure taken and your heart checked.

Visiting libraries around Wicklow throughout January and February, the next stops are:

Arklow Library, Wednesday 1st February 10am-5pm

Tinahely Library, Thursday 2nd February 10am – 4.45pm
